Raise your hand if you are living off of coffee this month. So many exciting but challenging things happening around here. Our new space @atelierlynchburg OFFICIALLY OPENS this weekend and we are kicking it off with our Christmas mini sessions 🙌 we are wrapping up construction there (because we still need important things like toilets 😂) and then we have to clean it like mad people. We are in the thick of wedding and portrait season so you will find me glued to my computer all day today (all the praise hands for pre-school). Along with business we still have the home front to maintain with things like home visits , because #fostercare and apparently prep for Halloween has become a countdown of fun and prep this week ending with our first middle school dance 😬. Someone hold me because of that last one 😂 Trying to constantly check my heart and maintain a grateful spirit for all the things happening versus wallowing in my stress 😅. Phew what a weekend!! We had the BEST time yesterday with Jessica and Chris! We drove a total of 6 hours yesterday, getting home at 2:00 am (our kids didn’t get the memo we were supposed to sleep in this morning 😴), got out a sneak peek gallery to Chris and Jess this afternoon and then headed back out the door for a family session. We may feel like we need to go into hibernation for a few days but we are so grateful for such an amazing weekend! Happyyyy Tuesday (Yep, has to come back in and edit that because I thought it was Monday 🤦🏻♀️😂) friends! A few things. 1) it’s 58 degrees outside this morning so I’m feel all the 🍁 2) we shared all things @atelierlynchburg last night and we are so excited to start sharing the space with the community. 3) Several of you have asked if we are doing Christmas mini sessions and I’m SO excited to say that we are and they will be hosted at @atelierlynchburg. These will be different from other mini sessions we have done in the past because the will be inside. We will have a really simple Christmas set up. Not over the top. We like to keep things timeless and simple over over here. The date is NOVEMBER 2nd.
